💡 WHAT IS A GOOD YIELD?
For a standard modern residential home, a flow rate of 5 to 10 GPM (Gallons Per Minute) is generally considered adequate. If your yield is below 3 GPM, you may need to install a secondary water holding tank to meet peak daily demands.
🔄 SAFE EXTRACTION RULE
Running a borewell pump for 24 hours straight can drain the aquifer and burn out the pump motor. It is highly recommended to operate the pump for only a fraction of the day (e.g., 6-8 hours) allowing the aquifer time to "Recharge" or "Rest".
